BACKER RODS/ GAP FILLERS

Backer rod is the most effective and most efficient back-up and filler material because it is non-crosslinked and its cells are closed. It does not degenerate when it comes to contact with petrochemicals and other inorganic solutions.

USES/APPLICATION

  • Backer Rod ensures that sealants remain in place for expansion joint on foot tops, in tunnels, subways, runways and bridges. 
  • Backer Rod prevents vibration of glass panes for windows and sash frames.
  • Backer rods prevents liquid leakage for joints in waterways, water reservoir, swimming pool, sewage systems and precipitation tanks.
